In addition to resume and career consulting, I have also been involved
in technical communication projects. For on-line examples of my work,

Relevant experiences include:
- Authored a software user manual
for an HTML editor from scratch (using FrameMaker).
- Co-authored, designed, and project managed a 180-page hard copy and
web-based career transition manual
used as company's primary outplacement and career management tool.
- Completed coursework in Technical Communications and Java at UC Berkeley
Extension.
- Provided in-service trainings on the use of software including Microsoft
Word and ACT.
- Worked on the web site development team for the Berkeley Chapter of
the Society for Technical Communication.
- Freelance editing and web site design
Relevant skills include:
- The ability to quickly understand and assimilate technological concepts.
- Expertise at interviewing and forming alliances with technology professionals
from many different industries.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- A longstanding interest in high-technology fields and a real enthusiasm
for making complex technology accessible and understandable.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word. Good knowledge of FrameMaker,
HTML, Acrobat, Adobe ImageReady, and DreamWeaver.

Portfolio
HTML Kit is an excellent free HTML Editor with many features, but unfortunately
very little documentation. I authored a user manual for HTML Kit using
FrameMaker. The manual can be viewed directly as an HTML file or as a pdf
file using the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
